Inaugural Post

Fellow Americans, we have decided to write this blog in an effort to give you a better understanding of (our) life in the nation’s capitol. We’ll talk politics, events, neighborhoods and happy hours. But we also hope to share stories of impeccably layered red, white and blue fashion statements (especially when their gallon milk drinking owners become our 2am bus stop friends). It will be a story of city life and American life, pre-parties and tea-parties, government jobs and unemployment, which we, as  “Deutschbags,” feel compelled to commentate and share. There will be times when we write together, times when we write separately and times when it doesn’t seem like either of us is writing at all. Either way, we hope to offer some insight and entertainment from inside the Beltway.

  • I look forward to politically-charged lulz. I also demand that you write all upcoming blog entries in both German and English. DEUTSCHLAND UBER ALLES. lol

I am falling off my chair laughing! This is an awesome idea—I expect nothing less from you two!

  • Cruikshank says:

Look guys I’m real happy for ya and imma let you finish, but Jack has one of the best ideas for a blog of all time. Of all time!

    • Vebah says:

Well tell Jack to get on it… the KyleLibra.com network needs some new life and, despite what T-Pain says, we can’t do it all by ourselves.

  • JMcD says:

I want to lobby for constant coverage of EVERY group marching on the Capitol. Please include photos, interviews, and head counts (especially if it is under 20). The more details you provide, the easier it is for me to connect with/make fun of my fellow Americans.

Furthermore, I demand you march for any of your freedoms you feel are being imposed on. When you run out of peanut butter, when you must do laundry, when you must either spring forward or fall back, follow in the great tradition of so many before you and MARCH. If you are unsure of what to march about first, let me offer a humble suggestion: petition Washington to change Jan-uary to Marcia-uary. Let’s face it, no one liked Jan.
    No one.

we need some more german on here…just like we need our Victory Cabbage.

  • Hopium says:

And the blog roll goes all over the nation (and outside of it, in Hamby’s case). It’ll be interesting to see the different viewpoints as we scatter to the four winds.

Can’t wait to see where you two go with this…hopefully it will not go the stagnant way of the other kylelibra duo-blogs *looks pointedly at Cole and in the direction of New York CityI.
