The year is 1983. The Cold War grips our nation in an invisible battle of secrets and lies. You are a senior counterintelligence officer in Department Seven, the most secretive branch of state security.
Your reputation is built on an unblemished record: twelve years of service, seventeen spy rings dismantled, countless acts of sabotage prevented. They call you "The Hunter" — the one who sees through deception when others see only shadows.
But now, everything you've built hangs by a thread. Intelligence confirms what we feared most: a mole has infiltrated our highest circles. Someone with access to our most guarded secrets has been feeding information to the enemy for years.
The Politburo has given you ██ 24 hours. One chance. Four suspects. Find the traitor, or face the consequences of failure — for in our world, those who fail to catch spies are often suspected of being spies themselves.
Trust no one. Question everything. The state is watching, and so is the enemy.
Field Manual
- The mole matches every point of the intelligence profile. Two more points can be requested from other sections.
- Innocent suspects tell the truth about themselves — except one, who is hiding a petty secret of their own.
- The mole lies about anything that fits the profile. Check claims against the records to catch them.
- Once you have caught someone lying, apply pressure. Watch how they react.
- Every action costs time: question 30m, pressure 45m, records 1h30, new intel 2h. When the clock runs out, you must name the traitor.
